Daniel Craig, the hot 43-year-old currently working on the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, was married to actress Rachel Weisz in an extremely private wedding this past summer. He describes the rare feat in the January edition of GQ (via the Daily Mail):
"We got away with it. We did it privately and I've got a lot of people to thank for that. But that was the point, we did it for private reasons. Because we didn't want it f*****d up, because that would be sharing a secret. And the whole point is that it was a secret. A secret is a secret in my mind." The actor is very candid about his disdain for other celebrities sharing their own secrets. In particular, the Kardashians. His message to the famous reality TV family is pretty clear: "I think there's a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel." (We think so too!)
We all know the Kardashians have made millions for showing us their private lives, but Craig rants to GQ, "You can't buy it back – you can't buy your privacy back. Ooh I want to be alone. F*** you. We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?" The man has got a point! To Craig, there's a difference between letting it all hang out and being honest and open. "It's not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for," he says. "But if you sell it off it's gone."
"Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions," he continues. "You see that and you think 'what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f***ing idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions.' I'm not judging it – well, I am obviously."
Although harsh, perhaps Kim Kardashian and her sisters can take a page from Daniel's book. While they're divorcing, having babies outside of wedlock and constantly bickering on their reality show, Daniel seems to be thoroughly enjoying his life with Rachel Weisz. Although he remains tight-lipped about his new wife (we think that's adorable, by the way), the actor does say, "Look, I'm in love. I'm very happy. And that is as far as I'm prepared to go. Life is long, life goes wrong and I don't want to say something now that might be thrown back later."
We get your point, Daniel. Now, will the Kardashians?
