If there's one celebrity pregnancy we can't wait to hear confirmed, it's Prince William and Kate Middleton's. Rumors have been swirling around blogs and weekly magazines since the royal wedding in April, but there hasn't been any official word... until now.
According to InTouch Weekly, a reliable royal source has come forward to confirm that there's a bun in Kate's oven after all! The Duchess of Cambridge recently made headlines when she refused a taste of peanut paste and repeatedly patted her stomach while she and Wills were at a UNICEF center in Denmark. These seemed like sure signs Kate was newly pregnant—expectant mothers are told to avoid peanuts, and she couldn't seem to stop subconsciously touching her tummy. But now the same source who accurately revealed where Kate and William honeymooned, as well as what the queen gave Kate as a wedding gift, is reportedly confirming the baby rumor. Is Kate Middleton Pregnant?
"Since before they even got married, it's been made clear to William and Kate that having children should be their number-one priority," the source tells InTouch. Well, if the source is right, Kate is about six weeks along and quite relieved to produce the heir the royal family wants.
And apparently they're wasting no time coming up with names!
"They want something traditional," the source says. "Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl." 5 Names We Hope Prince William & Kate Choose For The Future Queen
That's one prediction no one can make yet: if it's a boy or a girl. We're sure the Duke and Duchess will be happy either way, but the royal source hints that the couple might desire a girl, especially now that a first-born daughter could rightfully take the throne one day over a younger son.
The source adds of Prince William: "He's very much his mother's son, and he also knows that his father, Prince Charles, would like a granddaughter. Kate's happiest when William is happy.” Hot Date Idea From Prince William & Kate: Volunteer!
Whatever the sex or name of the baby is, he or she will definitely be living the big life straight from birth. William and Kate are reportedly already preparing not one, but three nurseries for their little bundle: one at Nottingham Cottage, their primary home; one in their Wales home; and of course one at Kensington Palace. That's one lucky baby!
Do you think the royal couple is actually expecting?
