Leaving wasn't as easy as I thought it was. I really didn't want to move back home with my parents especially since I had a baby. But I had to put some sort of plan into action and quick. He was due home in a couple days. He called maybe twice since he left and each time he started an argument. He began making these wild accusations of things I wouldn't even dream of doing. My heart ached even more! He was putting on a show in front of this woman. I took this personal because I am his wife and I should be the most important person in his life. Not some flousy!
I had grown addicted to going through his things. It never failed that everytime I looked I found just what I was looking for. This time it didn't hurt. I wasn't even the least bit surprised. I found all sorts of things. You name it, I found it. At this point I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised if he had a another child somewhere. I gathered all my evidence, took pictures of clothing, and called a divorce lawyer. I've had enough. The bad part of all of this was that on top of these cheating issues his check routinely came up short. I was doing everything. Hell, I can do bad all by myself. The divorce lawyer was graciousness enough to start the process while I gathered the retainer. There were several emails between us both and the petition for dissolution of marriage was filed by the time he got back home.

This day was like every other day. I went to work, got off work, picked the baby up, and headed home. When I turned into the cul-de-sac I saw his truck parked in the driveway. I exhaled a deep breath "He's home" I said aloud to no one. I pulled in the driveway and the garage door was open. It was a nice warm Spring day so he had the front door open too. He was fiddling with the lawmower on the side of the garage. I entered the house without saying a word. I got the baby settled and we went upstairs to my room. The contents of his suitcases were strewn across the bed and on the floor. I took another deep breath. Here we go, I thought to myself. At that moment the house phone rang. I went to nightstand and picked the phone up off the base. I looked at the caller ID.
'Private, humph' I said as I mentally prepared myself for a fight 'hello'.
