We all kind of remember Ali Landry from the 90s and early 2000s. There's a distant vision of her as Miss USA, 1996. And we have a foggy memory of her famously toting an open bag of Doritos in a Super Bowl commercial, making eating the snack look sexier than anyone else ever possibly could. Later, she starred in the 98 Degrees music video, "I do (Cherish You)." But afterwards, she basically dropped off the map (as did the band, 98 Degrees.)
It seems Ali decided to take a break from modeling and acting in order to raise a family. Though, that wasn't always an easy goal. Landry was originally wed to Mario Lopez, her first husband whom she met at the 1998 Miss USA pageant—he was hosting and she was commentating. However, just two weeks after they wed in 2004, Landry had the wedding annulled, due to Lopez's infidelities. Yikes, that's not much time at all! Mario Lopez Wants To Be Octo-Dad
Ali, 34, seems to have achieved her dream family in the end. In 2006, she wed her current husband, film director, Alejandro Gomez Monteverde. The couple already has a four-year-old daughter, Estela Ines Monteverde. And, a new baby makes four now! On Saturday, October 8th, Ali gave birth to a son, Marcelo Alejandro, who weighed 8 lbs. and 21 inches, according to People.
When Landry first announced in April that she was expecting her second child, she told People that she was eating grilled cheese sandwiches to curb her morning sickness. She also mentioned she would be "really nervous" if she were to have a son. Hmm... what an odd statement! Beyonce On Her Super "Fun" Pregnancy
We wonder, is she still nervous now that she has a little man in her arms?
