Blake Lively seemed to just fall into Leonardo DiCaprio's lap after he dumped Bar Rafaeli. Back in May, the beautiful, blonde Gossip Girl star was snapped hugging Mr. Titanic aboard Steven Spielberg's yacht, and with that, their adventurous romance began. Blake and Leo traveled from Monte Carlo to Venice, Italy to California, New York and even Sydney, Australia in a whirlwind of star-studded love. Blake Lively Has An Aussie Birthday Dinner With Leonardo DiCaprio

But, like any DiCaprio love story, this one ended just as quickly as it began. Reps for both Blake, 24, and Leo, 36, confirm to Us Weekly that the two have gone their separate ways. Oh wait, don't forget that classic PR line: "They remain friends."

What could've gone wrong during five short months of dream-like destination dates on expensive yachts and in high class hotels? She visited him on the set of his new film, The Great Gatsby, and even baked for him on quiet nights in. "Leo's never dated a girl who can cook. Other friends said they'd "never seen him like this with a girl." There was even rumors of an engagement looming!

So, what made Leo cast aside Blake just as quickly as his other gorgeous exes? Perhaps, when a girl starts to stare too longingly into his familiar eyes, the alarms go off in his head like a sinking ship: "Get out! Get out!"

Or maybe Blake was the one to end things—it doesn't sound like breakups are a big deal to her anyways.

"I have a strong sense of myself," she recently said. "That gives me a sense of security, you know? Every relationship you have, you're learning and growing and taking something from that. So for me, it's never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends."
