Miley Cyrus Has A New Boy Toy

Now that Demi Lovato is safely ensconced in rehab, the spotlight is reverting back to fellow tainted teen queen Miley Cyrus as she approaches her 18th birthday on November 23rd. Word on the street is that Miley has been quietly dating Avan Jogia, who currently stars on the hit Nickelodeon show Victorious. (Disney and Nickeleodeon stars dating - could this be the modern version of Romeo and Juliet?)

The young lovebirds have been spotted together several times in the last month, including an October 28th lunch date and a bindi-wearing jaunt to a Halloween party (apparently filled with plentiful camera ops.) And speaking of photos, if you look closely, a seemingly camera-shy Avan can also be spotted in a recent video in which Miley confronts a trailing paparazzo. It’s clear that the two are hanging out, but will they be changing their Facebook status to read "In a Relationship" any time soon? Don’t count on Avan to be spilling the beans, based on his recent interview with Tiger Beat.

"We're hanging out, but I don't really have to much to say about that," he told the teen mag.

And the ambiguous status seems to suit Miley just fine. Not only is she still recovering from her on-again, off-again fling with Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth, but those close to her say she’d prefer to be single and mingling on her actual birthday. "Miley wants to be officially single for her birthday and just have fun with whomever she hangs out with," a source told Hollywood Life. "She is for sure all about being young and having fun."
