Hulk Hogan is Licensed to Wed

Hulk Hogan has had a rough couple of years, even for a guy who gets beat up for a living.

For starters, his first marriage disintegrated on national television, during the 2007 airing of VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best. Viewers watched from behind their fingers as his ex, Linda Hogan, started dating a teenaged boy-toy who'd gone to school with her daughter Brooke. The kids, suitably creeped out, stopped speaking to their mother.

Then, tabloids began claiming that Hogan was dating Brooke's best friend (less creepy than it seems, since Brooke's bestie was in her thirties - but messy nonetheless.) Thankfully, it seems like The Hulkster had the right kind of people in his corner, and now he's ready to get back in the (wedding) ring.

E! Online reports that the wrestling star has applied for a marriage license to seal the deal with fiancee Jennifer McDaniel, who Hogan credits with guiding him through the darkest patch of his life so far. The pair began dating after his divorce was finalized in 2008, and Hogan popped the question last year in Brisbane, Australia. McDaniel agreed to marry her Hulk-a-Hulk-a-Burnin'-Love, and according to their newly-minted license, McDaniel, 35, and Hogan, 56, have until January 11th to tie the knot. 5 Couples Destroyed By Reality TV

No word yet on the wedding date, but we hear the Hogan kids have given their blessing to their father's match. Son Nick will be serving as best man at the wedding, and daughter Brooke is said to be excited for her dad's upcoming nuptials. (We're guessing Linda didn't get an invitation.)
