Ricky Martin's 'KiKi' Side Is Kinky

Ricky Martin
Ricky Martin calls himself 'KiKi' in private and has 'animal lust' desire for men.

Everyone has their inner self that provides them with strength to get through the tough times, and, like Beyonce who calls her alter ego "Sasha Fierce," Ricky Martin is able to put a name to his inner diva as well: KiKi. Limelife.com reports that in Ricky’s memoir, Me he states it’s the kinky--or KiKi part of him that keeps him strong.

"In private, I am KiKi, a man who each day confronts the challenges of life, just like everybody else."

While Ricky also admits that women are attractive beings, they just simply don’t allow his inner KiKi to roar.

"Ever since I can remember I have felt a strong attraction to men, and though I can say I have also felt a strong attraction to women, it is a man who awakens my most instinctual, animal self."

The 38-year-old "Living La Vida Loca" singer came out last March, saying he is a "fortunate homosexual man."

"If I knew (coming out) was going to be this easy, I would have done it 10 years ago," says Martin now.

Last month, Ricky made an appearance on The Oprah Show to discuss his book and how he has come to terms with his homosexuality.

According to USA Today, Ricky said that his 2-year-old twin sons were such a huge inspiration for him to be, not only true to himself, but to others.

"The moment I sat down and held my children in my arms, I said enough is enough...I need to tell the world what I'm about, my nature, because not doing so would be teaching my children how to lie. I didn't want it to be, 'At home, we're one thing, but when we go out, we're another.'"

His kids are so inspirational to him that Ricky wants to have more, possibly through adoption, which he calls a "very beautiful route."

"My life is very, very balanced. It feels incredible. To be with someone who loves my children, someone who my children love. A modern family!"
