Parents of 'Raising Sextuplets' Call It Quits

Bryan and Jenny Masche
After six years and ongoing troubles, Bryan and Jenny Masche decide to legally separate.

These days, we're starting to wonder if the quickest way to make a splash is to have a very public case of infidelity or just to have a super public break up, much like Jon and Kate Gosselin, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren or even the very infamous Heidi and Spencer... And now, that seems to be the deal for Raising Sextuplets couple, Bryan and Jenny Masche, who have legally separated after being married for six years. 5 Couples Destroyed By Reality TV

On September 17, Jenny filed the petition for separation, less than a week after Bryan was arrested from her father's home, following a squabble regarding their children. According to People, Bryan was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and issuing threats of domestic violence.

Even though people that knew the couple seem to be surprised at the turn of events, Jenny recognized their marriage wasn't perfect in a 2009 interview with People, even admitting that she and her husband had entered marriage counseling.

"We knew marriage was going to be hard no matter what," Jenny said at the time, adding that the couple had "brutal fights." We have ground rules...including never go to bed angry. So, there are some nights we're up really, really, really late or even all night." Source: People Magazine

It also didn't seem to help that their family's move, which was a focus in season two, was an added source of stress.

Well! It looks like this turn in their relationship was bound to happen when you combine the pressure of six kids, a national TV show and a move on top of existing marital issues. All we hope now is that while Jenny and Bryan figure out the long-term status of their relationship, that they do manage to keep the peace and handle this with some class—for their children, if nothing else.
