Instead of getting a divorce, the model and the millionaire check out some real estate.
In another WTF moment in Celeb Love Land, former Victoria Secret model, Stephanie Seymour and her mega-rich, formerly estranged husband, Peter Brant have called off their divorce and decided to buy a new house instead. Oh boy, this is definitely one for the Lifestyles of the Rich and Crazy!
Despite an ugly separation that included public accusations, mistresses, and even police calls, the dysfunctional couple apparently has decided to call a truce and to celebrate their non-divorce by investing in some serious real estate, according to the New York Post, whose spies saw the couple checking out super pricey townhouses in New York. Inside Stephanie Seymour's Ugly Divorce
Although Seymour and Brant have been married for 15 years and have two kids, Brant's ex-mistress, Alyssa Pallett, doesn't think this recent reconciliation is an effort to keep the family together or that their real estate ventures are an attempt to find a new family home.
"I don't think it's genuine. It's way too sudden. I think more likely they worked out some sort of deal, like it was strictly business. That would be like him," she told the Post.
Brant and Seymour however, were, like quick to call Pallett's comments bogus, saying in a joint statement: "This woman knows nothing about our personal situation, and her thoughts and opinions about us are meaningless." Ouch!
Well, we know Seymour has a habit of picking the wrong men (hello, Axl Rose), so let's just hope she has better taste in real estate.
