Balthazar Getty: Cheating Made My Marriage Better

Balthazar Getty, the 35-year-old TV actor and heir to the Getty fortune, made headlines in 2008 when he was caught cheating on his wife with a topless Sienna Miller, with whom he was photographed kissing aboard a yacht in Italy.

Now, nearly a year after their affair ended, Sienna is back in the arms of her old love Jude Law, and Balthazar has somehow pulled off a miracle and reconciled with his estranged wife.
The two's relationship is so strong, he claims, that they even gave an interview about it in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar.
"Here’s the bottom line: It was a very challenging time for everybody involved, but I loved and missed my family too much not to make it work," he told the magazine. "Rosetta is understanding enough and spiritual enough to let us try. In a way it - I don’t know - I feel like we’re better than we’ve ever been." Sienna Miller Is Not A Home Wrecker
Although many women would have been too humiliated to even consider taking back their cheating husbands (ahem, Elin Woods and Sandra Bullock), Rosetta said that she only thought about what was best for her young kids:
"I’m open to talking about it because I believe we go through things in a public way to help other people get through it. I’d love to talk about it more with people when I’m clearer about it," she said. "I’m going to have to explain this to my daughters one day. I chose not to act from ego because I just felt like it would be too crushing for my children."
If their marriage really is a happy one and they're not just putting on a public front, then we say, good for them! While so many Hollywood husbands seem to have a roving eye as of late, it's nice to see one couple that managed to survive an affair and put their marriage back together.
