Do You Want To Change Your Man?
By Sandra Aguilar. Posted on .
In the beginning of every relationship, it’s all fun and romance. After a few months, or less, reality sets in and kicks you hard on your behind. If you’re smart, you’ll run for the hills as fast as you can. Although, most women stay hoping and believing they can change their man, because as they say, “he loves me.” This is a big mistake!
Here is some helpful advice and a few things to look out for.
Family relationships- How are his relationships with his immediate family? Does he get along with them? Is he respectful towards his parents, specifically his mother? There is a saying that “the way a man treats his mother is the way he’s going to treat you.” This is very true. If he does not have any respect for his mother, don’t expect him to respect you.
Red flag- This means that your mate did or said something to make you uncomfortable or question his persona.
If he’s constantly speaking negative of his last girlfriend. What makes you think you are any different? When you are no longer together he’ll find something wrong with you as well, or worse, he’ll start speaking negative of you while in the relationship. Maybe, he’s too friendly with other women. Your gut feeling tells you that this person is not trustworthy; this is your intuition talking to you. Listen to it. His phone is always on lock, silent, or vibrate and he’s not keen on you touching his phone. Does he have something to hide? Listen to your intuition. Woman have great instincts, you have to learn how to pay attention to it. Many women ignore the little things men do and think it’s no big deal, but at the end of the day, it becomes a big problem.
Be aware- Pay attention to how he speaks to you. Is he demanding, controlling, thinks he’s always right, or blames others? Does he make you feel stupid, be-little you, or talks to you as if you were a child? If so, run! You deserve someone that will cherish you and see you for the wonderful person you are. Many women stay because of the status of their mate, or they are afraid of being alone. Don’t be, when one door closes, many will open.
