According to The News Of The World, Wills wants the royal wedding to coincide with the Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, not because he's worried his wedding won't get enough press on its own, but to garner his hometown and grandma (aka the Queen) some good coverage too.
"William and Kate are both aware a royal wedding followed by the jubilee celebrations and Olympics will really put Britain on the map again...The powers that be, and I mean right to the top, see this as the perfect opportunity to secure the monarchy at the heart of the people at a time when the media focus is on our country."
Now we've been hearing that Prince William and Ms. Middleton were headed down the aisle for years, so we understand if you're skeptical about these latest royal rumors, but were thinking this time they might be true.
