Kat Von D Is A Bad Idea For Jesse James, Right?

Jesse James and L.A. Ink star, Kat Von D were recently photographed holding hands near James' new Texas home, in what appears to be a public confirmation that the tattooed duo are officially dating.  (In case you haven't been following James' pathetic attempts to win sympathy after breaking Sandra Bullock's heart, the Monster Garage star recently moved to Austin, Texas, where Bullock has a home and spends most of her time.)

Although there's been a lot of back-and-forth speculation about Kat and Jesse's relationship status, which Von D further fueled by confirming their relationship on Twitter only to delete the post shortly after, their most recent PDA seems to us like a pretty clear statement of togetherness. While the man certainly has a right to move on, especially since it doesn't look like Sandy's taking his cheating you-know-what back anytime soon, all we've got to say about this new couple is...bad, bad idea. And here's why.

1. He's supposed to be focused on the kids

As we reported not too long ago, James moved to Austin with his three kids to be closer to Bullock, who was like a mother to his brood during their marriage. He even battled for custody of his youngest daughter, Sunny, so they could make the move together. And although we're pretty sure the location change was also an attempt to win Sandy back, it was—in all fairness—most likely equally for his children, especially Sunny, who is very attached to the actress and has been having a hard time since the couple split. In response, Sandra has been much kinder to her cheating ex than one could ever expect, taking care of Sunny while James spent time in rehab immediately following the affair. So why would James jeopardize his daughter's chance at a continued relationship with her former stepmom or risk hurting Sandy more by parading Von D around town? Perhaps James should put his own love life aside for awhile to focus on helping his three kids through this tough time. And he might want to try laying low (i.e., the opposite of this latest photo op) to avoid any more media attention. The Real Reason Sandy Isn't Taking Jesse Back–Yet 

2. She looks just like Michelle "Bombshell" McGee

We all know that the motorcycle fanatic likes his ink, and considering Von D is a tattoo artist, it's not shocking that she's also covered in plenty of it, too. But don't you think her resemblance to James' Nazi mistress is just a little close and a little bit eerie? Perhaps that's why she's sporting her new stoplight-red 'do.
