Meanwhile, January claims that Jason has never seen her naked. We think they're both wrong.
Is Jason Sudeikis to blame for January Jones’s awful blue Versace gown that she wore to the Emmys this year? Although January was universally crowned as the evening’s worst-dressed star by fashion critics and bloggers alike, Jason tried to defend his new girlfriend’s ensemble and supposedly gushed, "It's something else, isn't it?" about the dress. (We’re guessing that he probably clapped his hands when she twirled around for him in the gown during her fittings too.)
The couple sat next to each other in the front row of the Emmys, although Jason skipped out on posing with January on the red carpet. Can you blame him? We’d also like to point out that "It's something else, isn't it?" isn’t quite a compliment, especially when it comes from the mouth of a comedian. If Jason had really wanted to defend his lady’s sartorial honor, he should have taken a page from the playbook of Christina Hendricks' husband and called out the mean-spirited fashion bloggers one by one! Or, else claimed that her dress was Photoshopped and wasn’t that bad in real life.
But perhaps we’re being too hard on Jason, and maybe he was just trying to make it up to January after telling the world that he had seen her naked, something that she denies. Jason Sudeikis And January Jones: It Is On
"He's never seen me naked, nor will he after those comments," said January, who was photographed doing a walk of shame earlier this summer, to People, adding: "I think he handled that question very well. He made a joke of it. What was he supposed to say?"
Oh, whatever, January. We know you’re not actually Betty Draper in real life. We hope that Jason at least got to help you take that awful dress off at the end of the night!
