Kate Gosselin Wants An Acting Job And An Actor Man

It looks like Angelina Jolie might have some competition for the Busiest Mom in Hollywood Award. Kate Gosselin, who's got eight kids to Angie's six, is looking to ditch her reality TV status, launch an acting career, and find her own Brad Pitt along the way. And according to Kate, there was no better place to start then the Emmy Awards.

"Kate has made her mind up that she's going to be an actress and hopes her new profession will result in her finding a new man," a friend of hers told Popeater's Rob Shutter, explaining that Kate saw the Emmy's as the "perfect place" to network with casting directors and producers. 

Kate showed that she belonged and had no problem mingling with Hollywood's elite, including Tom Hanks and Betty White. She certainly isn't one to shy away from the spotlight, as she let the world watch her and Jon's marriage fall apart on television and in the tabloids. But she believes everything would be different if she fell in love on an actual set and looks to the happiness of actors who met while working together as inspiration. But although she is hoping for an Angelina and Brad like love affair (we know she loves the drama!), Kate plans to leave Angie to the silver screen and has set her sights on television roles like that of dramatic Edie Falco or possibly at the opossite end of the spectrum like funny-lady Tina Fey. But her dream is to be cast as a member of last night's winner of the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series "Mad Men." Do you think Joan will hire her as Don Draper's newest secretary?
