One-night stands can, for the most part, be a lot of fun. Pending on the level of intoxication of both parties it will either result in a great evening or a very awkward, uncomfortable morning after. What happens when you realize that the girl you brought home from the bar is actually a girl you genuinely like? The most important thing to remember is that the girl may not always have the same feelings towards you and she may have taken the hookup at face value. She may not be interested in seeing you again or even remembering the evening. As a rule of thumb, after the affair, you should always text a girl the next day if you spent the night with her. You don’t want to be the guy who gets talked about to all her friends and she refers to as a mistake. So always be polite and text her midday to see how her day is going and just to strike up casual conversation. If she responds and seems interested in conversing then go ahead and ask her out on a real date. Plan a time to meet up for drinks or dinner to get to know each other. Do not make the mistake that many guys make and sleep with her again on the first date, that makes it no better than the first time. If you’re genuinely interested in her for more than her body, hold out and get to know her. This will show her that you genuinely care about her and that you want to get to know her further. Otherwise in the best-case scenario you will turn into friends with benefits.

If this girl has a boyfriend or husband and you helped cheat on them or you cheated on your significant other, then tread carefully.If somebody is thinking about cheating and they add a little bit of alcohol anything can happen. If you have a girlfriend or wife she will certainly think you want her to be your mistress and lover on the side so only proceed to talk to her if you have left your significant other. Turning a one night stand is a simple exercise if you’re respectful and courteous to the other party.
