While Mel Gibson and his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva still share joint custody of their 9-month-old daughter, as their divorce lawyers continue to duke it out in court, sources say that may change very soon. According to E! News, detectives are nearly finished investigating the domestic abuse and child abuse allegations against Gibson, and it's not looking good for the Lethal Weapon star. E! reports that police are considering charging Mel with domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon and child endangerment. Now we honestly don't know what to think anymore when it comes to this beyond ugly he said/she said battle, other than it's beyond screwed up! While Gibson never admitted to hitting Grigorieva or his daughter, he didn't deny it either—at least not in any of the audiotapes we heard. His divorce lawyer, however, did deny the allegations and also accused Oksana of extortion—a claim that has put the Russian musician under police investigation as well. And why is Oksana even going public with all this? Come on, does she really think it's best for her daughter?
