'The Good Wife' star is not tempted, too tired to cheat.
The mag talked to the Emmy-nominated star of The Good Wife (CBS) about her career and some other topics—mostly the topic of infidelity, since her TV character is a woman picking up the pieces of her life following her politician husband's very public sex scandal. When asked why the headlines are dominated by tales of male cheaters, she offered that women are "too tired" to cheat. She continued, "With all of the things we do in our lives, what woman has the time to fit in an affair?"
While it's a cute response, there has to be more to it than that, right? Men are busy, too. Tiger Woods had more going on in his life than most of us could possibly imagine, and we've lost count of all the affairs he managed to fit in. But anyway...
Julianna explained why she's not likely to stray from her real-life husband, lawyer Keith Lieberthal:
I think that when you have gotten things out of your system, you are less tempted by distractions. My only temptations now are chocolate and martinis. I think the hardest thing about cheating would not be the physical act; it would be the trust you break. If you decide to take that person back, you have to make a deal to trust again. She also talked about the time she felt like a great wife: "There was one perfect day recently when I got up at 5:30 with the baby, went to work at 6:30 for 12 hours, grocery shopped, cooked dinner, and then later, my husband and I made love. We both looked at each other that night and said, 'This day will never happen again!'"
Julianna definitely seems like a cool lady who has her priorities in check. And we can't blame her for not having eyes for anyone but her husband. He's a total hottie!
