Bret Michaels Defines Monogamy Differently
Rock of Love star says he can hook up with ladies without ruining his relationship.

Bret Michaels tells Us Weekly that he and his longtime on-and-off girlfriend, Kristi Lynn Gibson, also the mother of his two children, have an understanding about their relationship, and it doesn't involve getting married. "The great thing about Kristi is that she never said 'If you don't marry me, I'm leaving,'" Bret says. "She went into this relationship with her eyes wide open. When we were broken up, I did Rock of Love—which was a train wreck of a show, and probably not the best way to find true love. But that made me appreciate her even more!" Bret goes on to say that the way he stays faithful to Kristi is, well, a definition of "faithful" that should sound familiar to all those technical virgins out there. "Now that I'm in a relationship, I can still have a great time with women. You just don't go all the way," he says. "The party stays in the front of the bus, not the back." Uh-huh. Who would have guessed back in his "Nothin' But a Good Time" days that Bret Effing Michaels would admit not only that he's not banging his way through an small city's worth of groupies on a weekly basis, but that he's also sober? The Many Loves Of Bret Michaels

That last bit is because, well, it could kill him. Remember that Bret has the diabeedus, and that he almost died first of a ruptured appendix and then of a brain hemorrhage earlier this year. He's back on the road, touring with Lynyrd Skynyrd, and promoting his new album, which we feel compelled to remind you features a duet with Miley Cyrus. Upon further reflection it seems obvious that Miley and Bret would collaborate; she likes dudes with questionable hairstyles and he likes girls who pole-dance. It's a match made in rock 'n' roll heaven. Excuse us, "rock 'n' roll" heaven.
