Cameron Diaz & A-Rod Keep Their Romance Low-Key

Cameron Diaz and her Yankee baseball player love Alex Rodriguez have already received enough press about their relationship to last a life time, thanks to a certain someone (cough, cough, Kate Hudson, cough), so we can't blame them for wanting to try to keep their romance on the D.L.
However, they don't seem to be doing a very good job of it, despite their best efforts. At A-Rod's teammate CC Sabathia's recent 30th birthday party in New York, the couple decided to arrive separately and even sit at different tables, rather than treat the paparazzi to a show and walk the red carpet together. (A-Rod ended up walking it alone.) But they still weren't fooling on-lookers who reported that the couple is very much together.

Cameron, who sat at an all-female table made up of Yankee girlfriends and wives, supposedly locked eyed often with A-Rod, who sat at a neighboring table. According to the New York Daily News, the pair was "strategic about their communication," although they did, at one point, "lip-sync to each other over the heads of their tablemates" during a particularly good song, played by DJ Funkmaster Flex. They were also mysterious about their departure, as well. Cameron left before A-Rod did and, sneaking out the back door, hopped into a limo that he joined a few minutes later. The two supposedly sped off to a heliport and took a helicopter to a destination unknown, where, hopefully, they were able to enjoy some time together without the paparazzi documenting their every move.
Meanwhile, Kate Hudson, who recently finished filming the upcoming rom-com Something Borrowed in New York, has been spotted in Europe on vacation. However, her latest dinner date, who she was seen leaving a London restaurant with, isn't someone that will set gossip tongues wagging. Instead of a holiday romance, it seems that Kate is focusing on her career, by choosing to dine with Hollywood honcho Harvey Weinstein.
