British actor Aaron, 20, and his 43-year-old fiancee are proud parents.
Kick Ass star Aaron Johnson and his fiancée, director Sam Taylor-Wood, who met when she directed him as a young John Lennon in Nowhere Boy, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Wylda Rae, yesterday in London. The reason it's news is because Sam is 43 and has survived two bouts of cancer, and Aaron just turned 20 last month. But whatever, age ain't nothing but a number, right? Mazel tov!
Aaron and Sam met in 2008 when she cast him in Nowhere Boy. Aaron, who, despite his flawless New York accent in Kick Ass, is English, was 18 and had been acting since he was 11. They began dating, got engaged last October, and then she got pregnant. And we have to congratulate Sam for her rather cougarish ways, because Aaron is super cute. 10 Coolest Cougar/Cub Relationships
Sam also has two older daughters from her eleven-year marriage to art dealer Jay Jopling, thirteen-year-old Angelica and five-year-old Jessie. So this basically makes her and Aaron a British Demi and Ashton. And that seems to be working out pretty well.
Also working out: Aaron's career. It's rumored he'll play Cyclops in Kick Ass director Matthew Vaughn's upcoming X-Men prequel, X-Men: First Class. Luscious lookers Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are already cast as Magneto and Professor X, respectively, and if Aaron joins the cast we're not sure which will be more delicious, the accents or the eye candy. Swoon.
