Johnny also talked about a controversy from back during the Winter Olympics, when two Quebecois TV commentators made some vicious remarks, saying that Johnny needed a gender test, à la Caster Semenya. "It was really horrible stuff, very hurtful, untrue things," he said. "I feel like a lot of people don't know how to accept me. They all think I'm this crazy diva, bitch from hell. And nothing could be farther from the truth." Agreed! Johnny is lovely.
So, this is great news. We're super excited to see Johnny out and proud and happy, and we can't wait to see what he does next (and who he dates) if this is indeed the end of his competitive skating career. Is a complete Lady Gaga On Ice too much to ask for?
