Kristen was on David Letterman's show Tuesday night, returning to the scene of her infamously excruciating 2008 interview, and while discussing the promotion of the movie, she made a wee verbal gaffe, because she is basically a 20-year-old female Joe Biden. "I was with Taylor on this last one because Rob was working, and we were able to have a lot more fun this time," Kristen said. OH. SHE DID NOT. Kristen, poor kid, realized that she'd just slagged off not only her boyfriend but also the object of millions of Twilight fans' most fervent dreams, and stammered, "That's not what I meant! She and Taylor have, indeed spent a lot of time together on this junket. After a screening of Eclipse on Monday in New York, the costars and several friends adjourned to a nearby bowling alley for some late-night frames. Hopefully that satisfied Taylor's yearning for running around; as Kristen told Letterman, "Taylor likes activity; he's a really active guy." Meanwhile, His Sparkleness is shooting the circus-set Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon and planning his next career move: Becoming an L. Ron Hubbard–style cult leader.
