Sandra Bullock & Jesse James Are Divorced

Anyone looking to get a quickie divorce might want to find out who Sandra Bullock's lawyer is. Only a little over two months after Sandy filed for divorce (soon after discovering that her husband Jesse James was a serial cheater), her marriage is officially kaput. This news comes on the heels of recent rumors that Sandra and Jesse were "talking," and that the divorce had been put on hold. We guess that's just the media reading too much into things because, while the ex spouses may indeed be "talking," it may just be to hash out the details of their split and to discuss how to make post-divorce life as easy as possible on Jesse's kids—especially six-year-old Sunny—who have come to love Sandra as a mother figure.

Jesse is apparently still moving his family to Austin to be close to Sandra and, while we doubt there will be a reconciliation between the two, we don't doubt that Sandra will do her best to remain cordial to the man who destroyed their happy life for the childrens' sake. As for Louis, the New Orleans baby Sandra and Jesse adopted in New Orleans five months ago, Sandra plans to move ahead with a single-parent adoption. It's unclear how big of a role Jesse will have in Louis' life but we're sure that Sandra will allow him to be there for the child if he wants. As she told People a few months ago, "I really don't know how our paths will intersect in the future, but the father I have known Jesse to be...is one that I hope Louis can experience one day, no matter how Jesse and I go on with our lives."
