Jesse James' Family Takes Sides Over Abuse Claim
By Becky Broderick. Posted on .
Ever since Jesse James revealed that the cause of many of his emotional problems was a childhood full of his father's physical abuse, the public has been taking sides and forming opinions on whether Jesse is telling the truth or just grasping for any excuse to get him off the hook for repeatedly cheating on Sandra Bullock. Now his family is also taking sides, and one former member of the James Gang is turning the tables on Jesse by leveling some shocking allegations of her own.
Jesse's dad Larry James, who hasn't seen or spoken to his son in six years, tells RadarOnline that Jesse's tales of abuse are not true. He even comes up with some very detailed (maybe too detailed) stories to explain away young Jesse's broken arm and black eye. However, Larry's other estranged child, Jesse's sister Julie England says that her brother's story is "completely true." She tells E! Online, "I saw it. I lived there with my dad, and he was very aggressive with Jesse and I. He did abuse Jesse."
Adding to the family drama is Jesse's former stepmother Janina Coan, who tells RadarOnline,
When Jesse was about 14 or 15 years old he started killing baby rats by injecting them with alcohol. He told me it’s what Dr. Mengele would do...Jesse loved the Iron Cross and you can see that he even used a version of it in his business logo. He knew everything about it. He even knew that Hitler had redesigned it for his medals.
