Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry Fight For Custody

Up until now, Halle Berry has managed to keep her break-up with long-term boyfriend and the father of her child, male model Gabriel Aubry relatively low-key. The couple split months ago and it was only recently, after she was spotted with a mystery man, that the tabloids even found out. However, things are about to get a lot more messy for the movie star.

According to RadarOnline, Gabriel is incensed that he hasn’t been able to see very much of his daughter, 2-year-old Nahla Aubry, in the recent weeks and now that Halle is scheduled to shoot a movie in South Africa for the next three months, Gabriel has been considering pursuing permanent custody of Nahla. "Gabriel requested that he be allowed to keep Nahla with him in Los Angeles but Halle wouldn’t let that happen, so the two reached a total stalemate and it started getting nasty, with both of them looking into entering a legal battle," a source told RadarOnline.

However, an ever-resourceful Halle has come up with a solution, the source added.

"Basically, Halle is going to pay Gabriel to be a kind of full time nanny and to come to South Africa for the three months she’s there, and to be Nahla’s full-time caregiver.
