Tara Reid Calls Off Her Wedding

Tara Reid was all set to kill her party girl image for good by settling down with fiance Michael Axtmann. However, yesterday she released a statement to People that "she will not be moving forward with her May 22 nuptials." Tara began dating wealthy entrepreneur Michael some time last year, and the two were engaged in January, shortly before Tara showed off her botched plastic surgeries in a Playboy spread.
Aside from the statement, we know that this is official because Tara changed her Facebook status to single. No Twitter confirmation as of yet, though.
No hints were given as to what caused the breakup. Could this be a case of two people just deciding that their relationship had gone as far as it could? We're not sure how to handle that. An amicable split seems so unnatural in this post-Tiger and Jesse world. Did Tara go back to her partying ways? Did Michael just decide that he couldn't spend the rest of his life looking at Tara's crazy mummified stomach? Or did he just not want to spend the rest of his life with a woman?
