Hey all, I'm scheduled to speak at a fantastic Twitter conference tomorrow morning: the 140Conf. I'm talking about online dating and romance in the age of social media. I'm sharing the stage with CyberDating expert and YourTango friend Julie Spira. We're scheduled to go pretty early (8:45 AM Eastern tomorrow (April 21st)) and chat for 15 minutes. You can catch it all on ustream.tv. For those of you who may not know, ustream is like YouTube but streams the video in real time. Very cool stuff.
The event is spearheaded by a man named Jeff Pulver (jeffpulver.com) in an effort to inform people about the interaction between social media and more or less every aspect of society. It has far more to do with how we use the technology than the 1s and 0s themselves.

A very few of the great headliners today include NBC's Ann Curry, YourTango friend Andrea Syrtash, advertising luminary Donny Deutsch, personal-favorite Twitterer and comedian Michael Ian Black, lady golf stud Natalie Gulbis, now-favorite rock critic Chris Weingarten (sorry, Chuck Klosterman) and the inimitable Hammer (AKA MC Hammer). Since you may have missed these luminaries, check out 140conf.com and Twitter.com/JeffPulver to see the videos.
Tomorrow's lineup is just as fearsome and features some really sharp people in the realms of the interaction of social media and education and journalism and real estate and music and prison.
Check out the live stream tomorrow at any time from 8:15 AM to 6:15 PM and click on any of the names above to see their Twitter feed. Oh, and get a Twitter account and follow:
