The YourTango staff is like a well-oiled machine. We dutifully devour books on settling for Mr. Good Enough, edit essays and blog posts that bring you the love advice you're craving, and make sure the site both looks pretty and runs smoothly. Meanwhile, Celebrity Editor Claire Daniel does the tough, down-and-dirty work. Heading up a crack team of in-the-know bloggers, Claire keeps us up-to-date on celebrity love stories, heartbreaks and outright scandals on YourTango's Celeb Love blog.
But Claire didn't always eat, sleep and breathe celeb-related news. A native Washingtonian (Arlington, VA, to be exact), Claire graduated from the College of William & Mary in Virginia, after which she packed up everything and moved to Prague, Czech Republic, to write, teach English and find herself (or some such hogwash). After spending five months teaching English to Bank executives, and writing a column for Anglictina.com, she then moved to England and spent the next eight months pouring pints in the Surrey countryside at the Red Lion Pub & Inn.

Claire moved to New York City in 2007 for graduate school at New York University, and now lives in south Brooklyn. Before writing about celebrities, she was the co-editor of a non-profit legal newsletter, an intern at Newsweek and a beauty blogger at TruthinAging.com. She now enjoys walks in Prospect Park, poetry slams, beer gardens, free meals and foreign movies. Tall, dark and handsome men can tweet-stalk her here.
