Tom Arnold: Ex-Wife Roseanne 'Saved My Life'

Although he didn't receive any money in his divorce from Roseanne, Tom Arnold isn't bitter.

Tom Arnold thinks a lot of things are funny, but his divorce from comedic actress Roseanne Barr isn't one of them.

As TVSquad reported, when the funnyman chatted with Chelsea Handler recently, she asked him "How much money did you get from Roseanne? Are you allowed to talk about that?"

Tom chuckled, but replied seriously: "It's public record. None."

Smiling affably, he went on to explain that he felt that leaving cash out of the divorce was the right thing to do.

"I had step-kids, and I wanted to be able to look myself in the mirror in a few years. The truth is the woman, you know, she saved my life," he said.

Looks like feelings have mellowed significantly since the couple's infamous shouting match on the set of Roseanne. (Not ringing a bell? We fired up the wayback machine and found a 1994 Entertainment Weekly article that may refresh your memory about the details of their nasty split.)

It looks like even back then, Tom was the model of diplomacy, explaining to the press, "There is no way I'm going to engage in a negative campaign against (Roseanne). I love this woman." That's a whole lot of nice in the face of allegations of abuse and infidelity. Top 7 Rekindled Celebrity Romances

And is it just us, or does Arnold look mighty slim and handsome these days? Maybe it's just the newlywed glow... Arnold married his fourth wife, home organizer Ashley Groussman, just over a year ago. Perhaps she's be straightening up more than corners!

Whatever the man is doing to deserve the hot bod and great attitude, he's doing it right.
