What happened to all that talk about marriage and babies? Yeah. We're wondering the same thing. Like a second after Kim Kardashian and Gabriel Aubry started dating, there was talk that Kim was ready to marry the male model and bear his beautiful babies. But apparently all that marriage and baby talk was in fact, all talk (or someone freaked out), because the couple has already called it kaputz.
What the hell happened, you ask? Well, according to Life & Style, Kim was the one who got cold feet and dumped Gabriel. Perhaps things were moving a little too fast for the reality star? Shocking, right? How could she have second thoughts about making a lifelong commitment with a man she had been dating for barely a week? Geez. Celebrities these days!

But according to Life & Style's sources, it wasn't just a case of commitment phobia. According to the tabloid, Kardashian thought Aubry was "using" her for her fame (not that Kim isn't a bit of a famewhore herself, as our friends at Celebitchy so delicately put it.) Plus, it seems Kim likes 'em young. A supposed "pal" told the rag that Gabriel, who happens to be 34, "is older than Kim is looking for." Ouch. Talk about age discrimination!
So if Aubry is too old and Justin Bieber is too young, who is just right for this man-eater? 25-year-old basketball player, Kris Humphries, apparently. Humphries plays for the New Jersey Nets, and we know Kardashian has a soft spot for professional athletes. (Maybe Aubry was too pretty for Reggie Bush's ex?)

"Kim likes him [Humphries] much more than Gabriel," the insider also told Life & Style, adding, "He’s normal, so much fun and cute. He’s perfect for what Kim wants right now, which is some fun dates and some fun times."
Today Kim wants fun. Yesterday she wanted marriage and kids. Will the lady make up her mind already? But maybe Kim realized that her desire for a ring and baby was more about feeling the pressure to follow her sisters' lead and settle down than what she actually wanted. Plus, it probably doesn't help that the media is constantly berating Kim for being the single sister. Kinda looks to us like Kim has a much better head on her shoulders than we sometimes give her credit for—at least compared to her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney. It seems that Kim would rather wait for the right guy than start a family with a man who might not be up to the task (ahem, Kourtney) or rush to the altar with a man she just started dating (ahem, Khloe).
