Carrey tweeted: "Jenny and I have just ended our five-year relationship. I'm grateful for the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best! S'okay!" and later consoled upset fans with "Be of good cheer folks! It's a beautiful world, and we're all gonna get what we need the most!" Celebrity Couples That Should Break Up

McCarthy also took to Twitter, posting: "I'm so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."
The split comes as a surprise, as it was only two months ago that the goofy couple posted proclamations of love on their Twitter accounts. For Valentine's Day, McCarthy, who is close to Jim's 22-year-old daughter Jane, revealed to fans that she had hired a skywriter to write "J (heart) J" in the sky above their house. Don't feel too bad for the former Playboy model, however; according to Contact magazine, Carrey reportedly set up a $50 million trust fund for her and her 6-year-old autistic son, Evan, last year to provide for her if they ever broke up.
