Country music star Keith Urban may have put his wife Nicole Kidman through a media frenzy in the past after entering rehab for cocaine addiction in 2006, but the singer makes it up to her in the cover of his new album, Get Closer, which he also dedicated to her.

According to OK Magazine, in his love letter to the Australian actress in the CD's liner notes, Keith wrote, "Nicole Mary—I continue to be brought to my knees by this love of ours… I am in awe of how this blessed family we are creating stretches and fearlessly opens my vulnerable heart…and I just want to be a better man, for you, and father for our heavenly Sunday Rose and have you go to sleep every night knowing that no one has ever, or will ever, love you as much as I do…and all we need is faith."

In a recent interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Keith opened up about his battle with cocaine, and credited his wife for saving him from his drug addiction. The star has admitted in the past that he was sorry for any pain his cocaine and alcohol abuse may have caused his wife. Lucky for him, Nicole decided to stay and fight for Keith rather than flee the trouble-ridden relationship. In 2006, she held an intervention to encourage Keith to seek help.

"You can’t [get clean] for somebody," Keith told Oprah Winfrey. "I couldn’t do this just for her, but to see love in action, to that degree, in that time, in that way, I’d never experienced anything like that.[I canceled a scheduled concert] and left that night."

The couple first met at a "G'Day LA" event. Keith (via theboot.com) admits he was nervous to talk to the Academy Award winning actress, and it took him more than one attempt to make a connection with her.

"I swear to you, she glided across the room ... like floated. I plucked up the courage to go and [say hello], very nervously, and trying to be all cool. [I] introduced myself and she was very pleasant and everything, and there was that moment of waiting for the next thing to be said—of which I didn't know if I was bothering her or what was going on—so I just sort of said, 'Well, nice to meet you' and I just walked away! ... [Later] I went back over and apologized, and we started talking and just really clicked."

Now, the country star is enjoying life with his gorgeous wife and daughter, Sunday Rose, in Tennessee.

"The selflessness that comes with [the love for a child and] that beautiful realization brought me more out of myself and aware of other people, be it my wife or our daughter," Keith told Oprah.

In a world where celebrity marriages seem to last two months tops, and supermodels are thankful their beau isn't sexting a woman 10 years younger than them, this outpouring of affection seems more fairy tale than reality. But despite the many scandals the pair has faced, this Hollywood couple is determined to stay together.

While on the set of Oprah, Keith reminisced, "Early in our relationship, we were sitting on a park bench and I said to he—and I don't know where this came from—I said, 'How is your heart?' And she said, 'It is open.'"
