American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino has had a rough few months. The six time Grammy nominated singer attempted suicide last August, and news broke today that she also had an abortion around this time.

Although at times the recording is inaudible, RadarOnline managed to transcribe Fantasia's confession. Fantasia admits to writing a letter to Antwaun detailing her love and desire to have children with him. Fantasia and Antwaun Cook: Having a Baby?
Excert from Fantasia's letter to Antwaun: "I want you. I pray every night that I can be in your life forever, be your friend, lover, prayer partner, wife and MOTHER OF YOUR CHILDREN. As long as I can have you I will be the happiest girl in the world."
Then the singer is cajoled into relating the details of her abortion:
Lawyer: "Ms Barrino, isn't it true that you told Mr. Cook that you had aborted his child?"
Fantasia: "When I wrote this letter I was speaking in future references. Like, one day, I would love to be all of these things that I wrote. I was not pregnant with his child."
Lawyer: "When did you abort his child?"
Fantasia: "It hasn't been too long ago."
Lawyer: "Mrs. Cook contends that she separated from Mr. Cook in June 16th 2010. How close in proximity to her date of separation did youcontend that you aborted his child?"
Fantasia: "I'm not sure. Probably August when the other stuff happened."
While Paula hasn't made it a secret that she thinks little of Fantasia and her home-wrecker ways (so much so that it fueled Fantasia's suicide attempt), Fantasia pleads not guilty. Fantasia Barrino's Ex Speaks Out
The American Idol star explains that while she dated Antwaun "off and on for about 11 months" she was led to believe that he was separated from Paula. Paula has even threatened to sue Fantasia for Alienation of Affection. The two women are so hostile towards each other that even a 12-hour mediation session failed to solve their differences.

Fantasia has suffered from sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, and the aforementioned suicide attempt. Perhaps she should set her sights on a worthier guy with less baggage.
