It's been a busy week for the Kardashian family, with one sister preparing to say "I do" to the sound of at least $500,000, and the other one classing herself up in order to win over Halle Berry's ex, Gabriel Aubry.
According to HollywoodLife.com, Kourtney and boyfriend Scott Disick are ready to settle down. But rumors are circulating that their upcoming wedding is more about publicity and money than wanting to devote their lives to one another.
"Scott and Kourtney got engaged last week in New York, but it’s just about money," said a source. "It's more of a business opportunity than true love. Others speculate that Kourtney, at least, is driven by more than increasing her wealth. The star is determined that her son, Mason Dash Disick, grows up with married parents.
"She approached Scott and basically said, 'Either we get married or you are out of the family and off the show.'"
Meanwhile, Kim has seemingly moved on from her last boyfriend and taken up with none other than Canadian model, Gabriel Aubry. A curious match, as, at least at first glance, Kim and Halle Berry appear to have little in common.
Perhaps Kim has caught on to that notion as well. It has been reported that she replaced her sexy, over the top outfits with more sophisticated ensembles. According to Limelife.com, Kim and Gabriel were spotted together at a Los Angeles Lakers game over the weekend where she wore jeans and a scarf.

Fans may be less surprised by Kim's choice, as the reality TV star has mentioned in the past that she's through with dating athletes and was less than impressed with New York's pool of men.
Life and Style reports, "Kim and Gabriel met a few times while they were both in New York, and there was definitely chemistry," an insider tells Life & Style about the pair. "But when Kim returned to Los Angeles last Thursday, they really took it to the next level. They went out to dinner, caught the Lakers game and spent time at Kim's house."
And what does the family think of Kim's new beau and Kourtney's engagement? Mom Kris Jenner, couldn't be more pleased about the Kim and Gabriel union, and the whole family is ready to celebrate Kourtney's marriage. Everyone, that is, except sister Khloe who believes Kourtney is marrying the wrong guy and has dubbed Scott "a loser."
