Lost Boy Corey Haim's Grieving Ex-Girlfriends

Is Corey Haim Dead

Former teen heartthrob Corey Haim is dead at 38 from a drug overdose.

True, this does not come as a surprise — but that doesn't make it any less heartbreaking; especially for us children of the 80s who doodled his name across spiral notebooks and rooted him on while watching him try to get back on his feet in the recent reality show The Two Coreys.

Best known for his roles with best friend Corey Feldman in Lost Boys, License To Drive and Dream A Little Dream, his then-promising career peaked in the late 1980s — "If he continues to act this well," said the esteemed Roger Ebert in 1986, "he will never become a half-forgotten child star, but will continue to grow into an important actor." — before spiraling out of control in the all-too-familiar narrative of child actor turned addict.

"The Hamster" was reportedly dating Rock of Love reality television star Daisy De La Hoya around the time of his death, who, perhaps-not-that-interestingly enough, was also dealing with her own drug addictions.

Now, a look back on the other women in his life.

Lala Sloatman: 1987-1989

Despite a few film credits under her belt, it was Lala Sloatman's late-80s romance with Corey that provided her with true celebrity stardom. The two went on to co-star in Dream a Little Dream and Watchers.

Alyssa Milano: 1987-1990

Who didn't date Alyssa Milano back in the day? Taking her out on the town was almost a rite of passage for the men of young Hollywood, and Corey was certainly one of them.

"Just woke up to the sad, sad news that Corey Haim passed away. RIP sweet boy," said the actress on Twitter this morning.

Nicole Eggert: 1991-1993

Corey Haim's romance and brief engagement to Baywatch star Nicole Eggert will forever be immortalized by the almost-NSFW "that's a nice duck" sex scene in Blown Away. The two were engaged for five months before calling it quits, presumably because he could not get his act together... even after she saved his life by driving him to a hospital during a so-called "narcotic rush."

Victoria Beckham: 1995-1996

A pre-Spice Girls Victoria Adams briefly dated Haim in the mid-90s before hitting it big in the girl band scene. Rumor had it that Corey was planning to write a tell-all book about the affair; but, like so many other things in his life, he couldn't even get that project up and running.

Holly Fields: 1996-1998

Holly Fields was the second woman to be engaged to Corey Haim but never make it down the aisle. Like his other girlfriends, she, too, was in the entertainment industry. She had her go with Corey during the more hairy days of drugs use and fading celebrity credentials.

Tiffany Shepis: 2008-2009

And "Scream Queen"Tiffany Shepis is the third woman for which Corey got down for on one knee, even announcing it with great excitement on his website:

October 29, 2008 - A big mazal tov goes out to COREY — HE IS GETTING MARRIED!! The lovely lady is Tiffany Shepis! COREY and Tiffany first met 12 years ago while COREY was on set filming FEVER LAKE. They recently reunited at the Chiller Theatre autograph show & the rest is history. The wedding has been set for May 9, 2009! [...]

Alas, that relationship as well did not last.

R.I.P Corey Haim.
