Jenny Sanford's Tell-All Book

Jenny Sanford and Barbara Walters
Governor Mark Sanford's wronged ex goes on a trash-talking media blitz to promote her new book.

Earlier this month, we reported on Jenny Sanford's exclusive interview with Barbara Walters, in which Jenny revealed the indignities she suffered during her marriage to South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford and the bombshell that she married Mark even though he insisted on removing the fidelity clause from their wedding vows.

Now, Jenny is talking to everyone in the hopes of selling a bazillion copies of her new book, Staying True. She was all over the tube this week, including appearances on Larry King Live, The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, The View and Good Morning America. Although The View's Whoopi Goldberg had plenty to say about Jenny behind her back (calling her "dumb" for marrying Mark), she was nice to her face during a predictably soft interview on Monday, allowing Jenny a forum to talk about her cheating husband and how she and her sons are surviving post-scandal. 4 Political Summer Sex Scandals We'll Never Forget

One interviewer who didn't just lob softballs at Jenny was GMA's new co-host George Stephanopoulos, who asked her if, after the scandal broke, she "called legislators to save her husband's job." Although she was thrown for a second, Jenny proved that living with a politician all those years rubbed off on her by answering, "Not to my knowledge. I don't recall calling anybody." However, there are several government officials who do recall being called. But we imagine she's sweeping that tidbit under the rug because it kind of contradicts her "strong woman who refused to stand by her cheating man" Lifetime movie appeal.

Jenny also told Stephanopoulos that she hopes that the scandal will make her sons stronger. Hmm, is that why she dredged all her family's problems up again in this book? To toughen up her kids? Not sure that we agree with her decision to tell all, but she did make a good point on The Daily Show: "I didn't make this stuff public, my husband did." How To Minimize Kids' Anxiety During A Divorce
