Oooh boy, the standup and late night scene may be in for a major shift. Sure Coco, Jay Leno and NBC (that Dick Ebersol is a real revisionist stick in the mud) made some waves but the real talk show bombshell is that talk show bombshell Chelsea Handler may be available. Who's Hotter: Conan Or Jay?
According to our buds at PopEater.com, Chelsea Handler and her boyfriend, Comcast bossman Ted Harbert, are on the outs. As you likely know, Chelsea Handler's TV program, Chelsea Lately, airs on E! which is part of the Comcast media empire (also home of G4 and the Style Network). Some amount of hay was made in the comedy world regarding their relationship but, for the most part, people agree that she got the show on her merits (and that theory is held up by the ratings). She also had a show on E!, the Chelsea Handler Show, before meeting Ted Harbert. Read: The Hottest 30 Celebrities In Their 30s

The couple resided together for some time before the split and a rep from E! says that has come to an end. They also say, "Ted has nothing but the highest regard for Chelsea both personally and professionally." Sound amicable. The rumor mill also suggests that it was Chelsea who initiated the breakup, so face-saving may be in order.
Now the fallout. Who should Chelsea Handler date next? Media bigwigs don't get much bigger than the honcho of Comcast, so Ted Turner is probably out. It appears she only uses Mexican dwarves for sexual gratification. So that leaves a lot of available dudes in the between spaces. We wonder what she thinks of largely unknown strawberry blonde bloggers?
There may be some irony that Comcast has agreed to purchase 51% of NBC Universal. Perhaps a late-night shakeup/ breakup was just par for the course.
