Kate Moss Engaged To Jamie Hince, Again

Second time's a charm, as people are very fond of saying. According to Celebitchy, Kate Moss is yet again engaged (to be married, doubtless) to marry The Kills front man Jamie Hince.

As you may recall, Jamie Hince and Kate Moss have been in one of those on-again/ oh-yeah they're famous for a few years. They got together on the heels of Kate Moss's 2007 breakup with world-class goober Pete Doherty. Their breakup was precipitated, to some degree, by photographs involving the couple and a big ole pile of Bolivian marching powder. As the scrutiny got cranked up and some of her endorsements hit the skids, a split became largely inevitable.

The couple became engaged on the Caribbean isle of Mustique on Kate Moss's 36th birthday. Mustique, as you likely know, is a luxury island in the Grenadines and Kate Moss was there on holiday when Jamie Hince instructed her not to come back to their shared home in London. As the beautiful Ms. Kate Moss wondered what this was all about, the music-y Mr. Jamie Hince made his way to Mustique with an engagement ring and a notion for making a family. He picked the ring out with Topshop's Philip Green and she said yes. She's come a long way from the dark days of camera phones. As you may recall, the two, Hince and Moss, were said to have been engaged a short while after they began dating. Read: Kate Moss Announces Her Engagement!

For his part, Pete Doherty has had some news. Holy Moly tells us that the musician is facing some legal scrutiny regarding a party death some time ago. On the other hand, the Guardian tells us that Doherty's band The Libertines may get back together in 2011. So, he's got stuff going on too.
