Mark Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, greeted their fourth child yesterday. Daughter Margaret Grace Wahlberg made her entrance at 6:35 PST at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. "Mark was in the delivery room with Rhea," a source told Star, "and he cheered her on all the way. Rhea was a real trouper, and now they can't wait to get home and be a big happy family with their four kids."
Mark and Rhea's oldest, Ella, is 6, and they have two sons, Michael, who's almost 4, and 1-year-old Brendan, but the two only married last August after eight years together. "I'm just dead-set against divorce, so I just want to make sure we're at the right place before we take that step," Mark said in 2003 just before Ella's birth. Why Having Children May Wreck A Marriage
Walhberg, the youngest of nine kids, appears to be trying to give his children the same experience of growing up in a big family that he had—although hopefully he'll be telling them to eschew the rougher bits of his teenage years, which were marked by drug use and arrests. He also said in 2007 that the reason he and Rhea waited so long to marry was because they both came from divorced parents. "We're trying to succeed in our relationship," he said. "Divorce is a bigger mistake than living with two children, not being married. My parents were divorced, her parents were divorced, so we want to succeed."
We wish the ever-expanding Wahlberg clan all the best, and look forward to Brad and Angelina's wedding, which, if they follow this model, should be either three kids ago or in 2013. Brangelina Marriage Depends on the Kids
