And his list of lovers is allegedly WAY longer than ours.
The number of men this Celeb Lover has slept with? Five and a half (don't ask). The number of women (or, um, whomever) that Warren Beatty has purportedly bedded? 12,775.
We just went bowlegged while reading that number.
Prolific biographer to the stars Peter Biskind has added yet another book to his already lengthy bibliography with Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America, due out January 12. Within this book, in typically sensationalistic Biskind fashion, we learn that Beatty...well...gets around. And not only does he get around, but he gets around in a manner that isn't even quantifiable, as the number above doesn't include "day-time quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on."
Holy manwhore, Batman.
So how did Biskind arrive at this rather impressive number? Did he perhaps flip through Beatty's diary (which is, of course, where we all keep our lists of crushes, smooches, and slides into home base), or maybe even dig this info out of Beatty during an in-depth interview?
I'll let Biskind tell you: "Using simple arithmetic."
(Pause. Stifled giggle.)
Beatty, of course, denies the whole thing, and his attorney, Bertram Fields, has released a statement, saying "Mr. Biskind's tedious and boring book on Mr. Beatty was not authorized by Mr. Beatty and should not be published as an authorized biography. It contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said."
As we are merely a bunch of tittering adolescents, and care not for the matter of what is true and what is not, we ask only: "Who'd he do it with?" Among the lucky ladies are apparently Jane Fonda, Joan Collins, Julie Christie, Diane Keaton, Fran Drescher, Janice Dickinson, Madonna and, of course, wife Annette Bening. That's a lot of sexiness for a mere eight women.
At this point, we don't know whether to run to our nearest sexual health clinic or give Beatty a high five.
