Katy Perry Takes Vow of Celibacy
The singer swears off sex since breaking up with boyfriend.
Looks like someone has decided to take a little time for herself. Grammy-nominated singer Katy Perry is swearing off sex and all of its temptations this year. In an interview with TV Guide, the "I Kissed A Girl" pop sensation says, "I've actually taken a vow of celibacy this year. No kissing anyone. Just my cat, Kitty Purry." Perry split with her boyfriend Travis McCoy of the band Gym Class Heroes shortly before the New Year despite engagement rumors to the contrary so it looks like Perry’s, um, cat will be getting lots of petting. Whether the petting is heavy or not is between Katy and her cat. We don’t judge around here.
Of course, we’re totally kidding. Maybe.
