JLo Has a Little Less Bling in Her Step

The actress walked the Golden Globes Red Carpet sans wedding ring.

Us Magazine reported what most of us witnessed while watching the red carpet leading to last night’s Golden Globes ceremony: there is obviously trouble in paradise when it comes to the relationship between Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The couple walked the red carpet last night and despite her gorgeous Marchesa gold gown, there was a little bling that was missing: the star was not wearing her wedding ring again. Us went on to cite their earlier reports that the couple’s relationship is in trouble

As someone who actually watched the red carpet coverage last night, anyone who was watching was uncomfortable for them. The twosome got out of their limo and basically avoided looking at each other to the point where it appeared that Jennifer was trying to speak to anyone else but her husband. Jennifer looked amazing but if the rumors are true that Marc doesn’t like her dressing sexy, she was in full defiance of the rules last night, wearing a deep plunging, backless number that was honestly more appropriate for Vegas than an awards show. If she was trying to send a signal that she wants control of her life back, then that dress and leaving the wedding ring at home was a loud and clear broadcast of that message. It’s on like Donkey Kong, people.

You know, we really have no idea what goes on behind closed doors but if the frigid display on the red carpet and the news reports are any indication, I imagine there is serious drama afoot in Long Island.  As much as I want JLo to be happy, sometimes successful, in-charge women have a hard time finding men who can accept them in all their fiery glory. If Marc is unfortunately one of those types of men, it might be time for her to move on.
