LeAnn Rimes' Lickity Split Divorce

Three months after their initial separation, and on the very same day that Dean Sheremet filed for divorce (December 18th), he and soon-to-be ex-wife Leann Rimes reached a confidential divorce settlement, according to People.

Unfortunately, we don't get to see it: "The settlement shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy," the document states. Smart move! What If California Outlawed Divorce?

However, we do know that Sheremet is citing "irreconcilable differences" and is seeking spousal support:

Sheremet cites "irreconcilable differences" for the end of their nearly eight-year marriage, which crumbled as Rimes began a relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian, who also was married at the time to Brandi Glanville (Cibrian and Glanville are also divorcing.)

Sheremet, 29, is seeking spousal support from Rimes, 27, and wants her to pay the attorney fees, according to the papers, which were filed Thursday in Superior Court. The pair have no children. People

While we know that Sheremet has been consoling also-scorned spouse Brandi Glanville, Us Weekly reports that he has been taking classes in Manhattan at the French Culinary Institute as a way to manage his grief. Both actions, of course, fuel speculation that Dean is a teensy bit gay. Case in point: In August, when asked about the extended Rimes-Cibrian affair that ended his marriage, he fought back tears and told Usmagazine.com, "It's bizarre. It's surreal. But I'm doing OK."
