The Gosselins Finally Divorcing

The other week, we reported that Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods's wife, might find a continued committment to Woods quite lucrative (though it seems, at this point, that she's going to opt out). This week, we're finding that divorce pays just as well (if not better), especially in the case of Jon and Kate Gosselin.

Earlier today, Radar reported that the Gosselins' divorce would be finalized within the next 24 hours. Hallelujah! "Kate couldn't be happier," a source told RadarOnline. "Kate is thrilled." We're thrilled, too. Jon's lawyer, meanwhile, insists that the divorce is far from over, saying that it is still a "work in progress."

"Jon is focusing on his children for the holiday," he said. "His focus primarily is not on the litigation, but on his family."

Timing aside, Cele|bitchy wonders how Jon will continue to afford his $3,000-a-month New York City bachelor pad once the divorce has gone through.

We, meanwhile, wonder what exactly could have Kate so thrilled. Is she:

A. ...squeezing him for all he's worth?

B. ...blocking his ability to make money as a reality TV personality, while selfishly forwarding her own plans for TV stardom?

C. ...acquiring a lifetime supply of hands-on, around-the-clock childcare support?

D. ...acquiring a lifetime supply of hair mousse?

E. ...being rewarded with a Partridge Family-style bus for future field trips?

F. ...being rewarded with pro bono therapy for her children, who are undoubtedly scarred for life?

G. ...merely thrilled that Jon will be out of her life, hopefully for good?

H. All of the above?
