'Most Fascinating' Jenny Sanford Divorces Governor
Don't call her a victim.

It's about time, isn't it? Per an AP story appearing in the NYPost:
South Carolina's first lady, a former Wall Street vice president who helped launch her husband's political career, announced Friday she is filing for divorce months after his tearful public confession of an affair with an Argentine woman.
"This came after many unsuccessful efforts at reconciliation, yet I am still dedicated to keeping the process that lies ahead peaceful for our family," Jenny Sanford said in a statement.
A spokesman for her husband, Gov. Mark Sanford, had no immediate comment. The divorce complaint was filed Friday in Charleston County Family Court.
This week, the accomplished Mrs. Sanford gave an interview for Barbara Walters as a part of the ABC special Barbara Walter's 10 Most Fascinating People. Take a look at the clip below:

This sounds terrible, but I kind of wish she were less gracious and elegant about it all. I know that being calm and not saying mean things is the smartest thing to do when you're in the public eye. I also think that we expect too much of people. It would be nice to be able to be human and say, "he's a *****, he betrayed me, I hate him and his paramour."
Right. I see what you are saying. She is too perfect and we've put the pressure on her to be perfect. Like she can't lapse, smash a golf club into his car and call him a douchebag. We should allow that. People after all are people. But society doesn't seem to let people be imperfect. We castigate and ridicule anyone who shows the slightest bit of humanity.
She's awesome! What a strong, composed, classy lady! I admire how she acknowledged the hurt without asking for sympathy, and without mudslinging.
