Fresh off her Glamour Woman of the Year honor, Rihanna has a new man friend. The 21-year-old singer entertained friends at her L.A. home over the weekend before heading to London for the next leg of her Rated R tour, and one of her guests was 90210 actor Tristan Wilds. "They were openly affectionate for everyone to see," a source told the New York Daily News. "He's a real gentleman. She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up."
Rihanna has been linked to Justin Timberlake and Usher since Chris Brown turned into a complete scumbag back in February. Now, though, the Daily News says that she and Tristan, who's 20, have been spending time together and making plans to keep in touch throughout her album tour. "They're already planning to use iChat and Skype to stay in contact until Tristan finishes shooting 90210 for the season and can fly out to meet her on the road." Long-distance, but only temporarily. Will it work?
Rihanna denied the relationship rumors in an interview with Atlanta's Q100 this morning, saying that she doesn't even have Tristan's number. She also said that she's often reminded of her relationship with Brown, and that she doesn't change the station when his songs come on the radio. It did not escape notice that Tristan bears a bit of a resemblance to Brown, which is unfortunate, if out of everyone's control. What is a little weirder is that Tristan and Brown are apparently Twitter pals. The Daily News reported that on Sunday, Tristan sent an @ back to Brown's twhining about being tired, saying, "Keep grinding, kid. All we can do." We are just so glad that Twitter is now a legitimate news source. It's so much pithier than publicists.
