I live and work in London, a truly international city and I have no clue how the WELSH got on the list...hahahaha. Definitely my English accent is considered attractive to my American women friends but that is because it is DIFFERENT. I personally like women with South African accents because even in London they are quite rare. I would argue we are all attracted to accents that are unusual or exotic to us, so in NY a New Jersey accent would not be interesting but in London it would, and so on...
definitely Scottish and Irish accents always travel well and surprisingly get picked up by foreigners who would not be able to distinguish between an Aussie and a Kiwi or a Canadian and an American...maybe from now on I ought to put on a soft Dublin brogue when out on the pull
I'm surprised Australian accents made it, i don't think they are sexy at all and there are some truely aweful english and american languages..
I definately relate because when a guy speakes in an Irish accent i want to faint but I don't think it's as simple as just an accent. i think there are a lot of cultural mannerisms that influence and definately voice. i'd rather pick a guy with a deep sexy voice and an unattractice accent rather than someone who speaks with a gaelic lilt in a soprano voice.
I would also love to know the demographics of the 5000 international women, it might just be culteral stereotyping but i somehow dont picture French women swooning over mispronounced french.
I'm surprised American accents made the list. I wonder which ones?
Except for the Americans, the sexy accents are all European. I wonder what that means.
And what do they mean by international group of women? Where were the women from exactly?
What language were the people speaking? In other words, do Frenchwomen think American men sound sexy when they mangle French?
