Costume Party Ideas For Celeb Couples
Monster Halloween makeovers for famous guys and ghouls

Celeb Love recently gave Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon some Halloween costume ideas after Mariah confessed that she and her new hubby didn't know who or what to dress as this year. That presented a frightening prospect — what if there were other celeb couples out there with nothing to wear to their velvet rope parties? With Halloween less than two weeks away, we thought we would offer up some more creative costume ideas so that these dazzling duos won't have to face the horror of sitting at home in their sweatpants, handing out candy to kids.
Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams – This married musical duo always seemed like a rather strange pairing. Before going indie, Mandy was the anti-Britney, the sweet pop princess who could actually sing and didn't use sex to sell records (and consequently, she never sold as many as Brit). And before his "indefinite hiatus" from music, Ryan was a moody, bad-boy alt-country rocker. Therefore, we think Mandy and Ryan could perfectly portray another well-known couple that started out on opposite ends of the tracks and met in the middle – Grease's Sandy and Danny. Of course, if they want to play against type, Mandy could get wild as a dominatrix with Ryan as her slave boy!
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher – Since these two are close pals with Demi's ex, Bruce Willis, maybe they could have a little fun with that and go to their Halloween party as Maddie and David from Bruce's old series, Moonlighting? Or, for a little role reversal (and one that doesn't require Demi to cover up her gorgeous, long brunette locks with a short blonde wig), they could masquerade as another famous couple, Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas. We're sure Demi would enjoy being the younger woman for one night – and the ageless star wouldn't even need makeup to achieve that look!
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi – In a nod to Ellen's new gig as American Idol's fourth judge, these two could do the Transylvania Twist dressed as Simon Cowell and Ellen's AI predecessor, Paula Abdul. (We'll let them fight it out over which one gets to be Simon.) Or, since they both have blindingly blonde hair, perhaps they could be two of those creepy kids from Village of the Damned? All they'd really need are matching dresses and some white contact lenses.
